Let's dive right in so you can get to know you’re favorite touring pro, Gannon Buhr!

Picture this: an energetic nine-year-old lad, fresh in Urbandale, Iowa, gets mesmerized by Dude Perfect's YouTube shenanigans.

This young gun, Gannon Buhr, attempts to buy a Frisbee to recreate those iconic shots, but ends up with—wait for it—a disc golf disc. Yup, he mistakenly purchases an Innova Champion Firebird!

You thinking, "Epic fail?"
Nah, it's an epic beginning.

The game gripped him like butter on toast.
Before you could say "Ace!", he was mastering his local course and making waves in tournaments.

Jump to 2016. Gannon, all of 11, enters the Junior Disc Golf World Championships.

Outcome?
An impressive third place.

But the kid's not done.

2017?
Blasts competition, winning by a whopping 30 strokes.

Two years later?
Bags another Junior World Championship.

Talk about meteoric rise!
Prodigy, smelling talent from a mile off, bags him as their sponsored player.

Then, 2020 hits. Not the global pandemic saga, no.
Buhr faces a gnarly ACL injury instead.

But in an unexpected twist, it's revealed he has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, making his ligaments super stretchy.

Sounds like a superhero origin story, right?

Fast forward to 2021. Buhr's back in action, smashing the pro circuit with stunning top finishes.

By 2022, he's more than competing with the big boys, tying first place in Vegas and then winning the USDGC major.

Carrying the momentum into 2023 he’s gone on to win 3 elite events this year.

Now, for the surprise twist.

Despite his pro accolades, our hero is still a typical teen fresh out of high school and onto the pro tour without a driver's license, and, believe it or not, hitchhiking to tournaments.

Ever seen him on YouTube, diving into icy rivers or acing arcade games? Yup, that's our boy, still keeping it real.
